It aint always PRETTY...But it's REAL!

Hello fellow Bloggers! Yes, this is my first blog and I can’t hardly believe I have actually be suckered into doing this… however, I guess I can say I stood my ground longer than the rest of you :-)

Don’t worry, I won’t go into boring details of my past that no one really cares about like my birthday (March 12^th) and how I am an addict of many things like food, Starbucks, attention and money. Though, I will tell you that I’m probably not as witty as most, my life is pretty boring and I’m not a mother so you can’t “eww-and-awwh” over my cute kids. I DO however promise to gossip about all my friends behind their back to keep you all entertained!

Minus food, starbucks, attention and money that we already addressed, my life revolves around a few simple things: God, family, friends, kids, and boyfriend. (Bills, school, work, people pleasing, shopping, caffeine…am I getting carried away?) Yes, I said I don’t have kids… but I do… lots of them, none of which I birthed though, I have other amazing people for that… MY FRIENDS! I have the two most precious; amazing, smart and talented God Sons on the planet (Justin & Xavier) and I don’t just say that because they can beat me up but they truly are my little angels! Ethan and Evann bring joy to my life everyday and their little sister Lila is the newest addition to my kid friendly life. Chase, Gracie and Anna and Delaney are my other sweet loves. I’m hoping to get worn out on all of them so I never have to have any of my own. (just kidding mom).

I wish I could entertain you with all sorts of family drama but as unreal as it seems in such a crazy world we all really love each other. Crazy, right? I have a brother who abandoned ship (kidding, I love my brother to a million pieces). He lives in Atlanta close to other family making a wonderful life for himself with his beautiful girlfriend, Rebecca and my unborn niece and nephew (hey, a girl can dream, right?). Its hard being so far away at times but somehow we manage to make this work! I give my parents credit for giving us the tools we needed to become functioning adults…sort of. They have always made sure we stayed true to who we are and they have showered us with so much love and praise its ridiculous. I honestly couldn’t have dreamed up better parents in my wildest dreams and they feel equally as lucky to have raised a golden child like myself. Kidding. But they have some cool kids :-)

For some reason God thought I awesome, so he gave me a boyfriend that thinks I’m something to brag about (I have successfully wooed him with my trickery). He came to me at an unexpected time, but has completely changed my life. Unlike me, he is a complete realist which drives me insane most of the time but I guess we would be in a lot of trouble if we both lived in la-la land! He thinks about stuff like money, the future, retirement and saving money… who does that? I have no idea how I ended up dating the funniest person on the planet but I feel lucky to have such a strong amazing person in my life that tries everyday to make me feel special. Did I mention he cooks AND cleans? Oh yeah… and my friends love him!
